Accreditation Statement
The Society for Neuro-Oncology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation
SNO designates each live activity/enduring material for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Disclosure & Mitigation of Relevant Financial Relationships
The Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) adheres to the policies and guidelines, including the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, set forth to providers by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), stating those activities where continuing education credits are awarded must be balanced, independent, objective, and scientifically rigorous. All persons in a position to control the content of accredited continuing education program are required to disclose all financial relationships with any ineligible company within the past 24 months . All financial relationships reported are identified as relevant and mitigated by Society for Neuro-Oncology in accordance with the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education in advance of delivery of the activity to learners.
Content Validity & Evidence
Educational content is fair-balanced, scientifically rigorous, and free of commercial bias. Recommendations are supported by the best available evidence, labeled/unlabeled uses are identified, and alternative therapeutic options are discussed when applicable.
Claiming Credit
- Participate in the activity (live or on-demand).
- Log in to the Neuro-Oncology Academy using your SNO user credentials.
- Complete the post-activity assessment and evaluation.
- Claim your credits and download your certificate via your SNO dashboard through the Neuro-Oncology Academy.
